Our delegation triumphant returned from Europe with fruitful achievement

During the winter holiday, a delegation, led by Vice Principal Li Min and Assistant Principal Li Huayan, including 4 teachers from Grade 12, Mr.Zhao Duobiao,Ms.Wang Yufeng, Ms.Zhang Wenyan, and Ms.Wang Jing, went to Germany, France and the United Kingdom to visit a series of universities and secondary schools, where they visited campus, observed classroom, participated in parents’ meeting and students’ meeting and attended seminar with the teachers from host schools. The host schools spoke highly of management and teaching ideas of our school and sincerely hoped to cooperate with our school in the future. We have achieved fruitful accomplishment. In Germany, we discussed further cooperation with our partner school, Herder school, in Giessen，especially the approach of students exchange. We signed an cooperation agreement with Regional foreign exchange office in Kleve City, including Rhine-waal University of Applied Sciences, Berufskolleg des Kreises Kleve (the largest vocational high school ), Freiherr Vom Stein Gymnasium(one excellent senior high school with a history of hundreds of years ),Konrad Adenauer Gymnasium(one famous junior high school), which has opened up broad prospects for pluralism development and exchange, specifically providing a new outlet for our high school graduates.

In France, we made a formal signing and established friendly relationship with Henry iv school.The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in teachers and students exchange, teachers training and curriculum development.Henry iv school is one of the key schools in France which has a long history, excellent teachers and high level teaching.In the United Kingdom, we held preliminary discussions about the aspects of the cooperation with Warwick college and another two excellent local high schools, St Mary Magdalene Academy and Marlborough College. Encouraging progress in exchange of teachers and students and A-level cooperation has been made.

Through this trip, the teachers have broadened horizons, learnt a variety of teaching ideas and felt the exotic cultural traditions. Under the leadership of Vice Principal Ms Li Min and the Assistant Principal Mr.Li Huayan ,our school has pioneered and developed the friendship with the elite universities and secondary schools in Europe, which will strengthen international communication, promote students’ development, make contributions to the early realization of the best quality, specialization, diversification and internationalization.
